New York State Wine - Finger Lakes Region

Our Commitment at O'malia's is to visit several New York State Wineries each year. We feel that New York State has some of the best wines in the country. Personally touring the wineries helps us pick some excellent selections from each winery to keep in stock at our store. We are eager to hear of new wines and wineries that customers may have already visited and tried. Customer requests are welcome, and we would be happy to keep requested wines in stock.

Kat Knapp Superstition, 750 ml. or 1.5 Lt.; Sweet Red; the jammy flavors are reminiscent of grape pie. The wine is finished semi-sweet, and is enjoyable chilled by itself, or on picnics, or by the lake. Made with Concord grapes, bright and fruity with big bold flavors

Riesling, 750 ml.; Semi-Sweet White; light ripe peach fruit flavors and a light finish. Made with Riesling grapes, it is best served chilled.

Kat Knapp, 750 ml. or 1.5 Lt.; Sweet Blush; lusciously fruity, made from Catawba grapes. The aromas of fresh grapes is balanced by a pleasing semi-sweet finish. Serve chilled on picnics, or by the pool.

Knapp Black Cherry, 750 ml.; Sweet Bush; a sweet blend of white wine and black cherry juice. Made with seyval Blanc and natural Black Cherry flavors. Serve chilled.

Since 1977, Glenora Wine Cellars has been producing premium wines on the magnificent western hillside of Seneca Lake. The oldest winery on Seneca Lake, widely known for its warm hospitality and magnificent lakeside setting has garnered exemplary reviews both in and outside the Finger Lakes region. The founders never imagined that when they first opened the winery in 1977, just three decades later, Glenora Wine Cellars would be producing 45,000 cases, hosting 85,000 visitors, and winning 75 medals at international wine competitions in one year alone.

Glenora Riesling, 750 ml.; Semi-Sweet White; The Riesling is a grape variety which is ideally suited to the Finger Lakes Region. Our soil types and cool growing season mature the grape slowly, producing fresh, bright fruit, floral aromas and flavors reminiscent of nectarines and honey. Natural acidity and lingering grape sugar are balanced in the fresh semi-sweet finish. Our Riesling is enjoyable by itself, as an aperitif or with a variety of foods including fruits, cheeses and most summer salads. Best served chilled.

Jammin Red, 750 ml. or 1.5 Lt.; Sweet Red; Packed with the aromas & flavors of the harvest, this unique blend of wine & natural fruit flavor has a luscious sweetness. Serve Chilled.

Bobsled Red, 750 ml. or 1.5 Lt.; Semi-Sweet Red; a unique blend which produces blackberry jam aromas and flavors. The pleasant, semi-dry finish makes this wine enjoyable on its own or as an accompaniment to pasta, pizza and Buffalo wings. You may enjoy the wine slightly chilled.

Peach Passion, 750 ml.; Sweet White; Big, bold, peachy flavors jump out of the glass of Peach Passion. Luscious sweetness complements the delicate aromas. Enjoy the flavors of summer from this and other fine products from the Peach Orchard Farms kitchen. Serve Chilled.

Blueberry Breeze, 750 ml.; Sweet Blush; Blueberry Breeze is part of Glenora's Fruit Series and is from Peach Orchard Farms. It has a scrumptious flavor reminiscent of Grandmother’s blueberry pie. The luscious sweetness is warm and pleasant. We made this special blend of Finger Lakes white wine and blueberry juice in the Peach Orchard Farms kitchen. Serve Chilled.

Raspberry Rose, 750 ml.; Sweet Blush; reminiscent of delicious raspberries picked freshly off the shrub on a mid-summer morning. This special blend of Finger Lakes white wine and raspberry juice was created in the Peach Orchard Farm kitchen.
